2 questions... Looks like the lock in tab for the quick release is metal? True to size? Thanks.

Hi there. Great video. I think the reason you’re not liking the breath deflector is due to the shape of this helmet, which is intermediate oval. Look into oval/long-oval shapes which provide more room at the front and the back; that way you can comfortably wear the helmet with the breath deflector on. Happy riding!

Forgot to mention - LS2 challenger is oval shape so that might fit you even better than this one. I’ve got this one (also known as FF800 Storm in other countries) and love it due to its shape (I’ve got a round head), weight, and all those features that you covered in the video.

can you change the inner eye shield from black to clear ? as I would like to make the outer shield darker and at night kick it up and use a clear inner shield

I looked at the Challenger, but liked the vents on this one better. It gets hot and humid in NC during the summer.

To me it seems to have bigger vents to flow air.

False Info, the shell size in medium is the same. I bought both the assault and stream. The stream helmet supposedly only having the one large shell size is actually identical in size to this in a Medium if not SMALLER than this assault M. Who doesn't want a good a looking helmet? This dangerously large helmet is not aerodynamic in the slightest, I heard these helmet have lose padding so I got a medium with my big ass head after 2 days of riding it's loose, they can only add so much padding to this monstrous shell. Terrible design DO NOT BUY

4 months later I'm still happy with mine. But I'm not everyone, so thank you for adding to my knowledge on this helmet. 👍🍻

Hey mate, which one was quieter for you? Assault or Stream Evo? I'm right now deciding between the new Stream and Assault or the Pioneer Evo

@@brbrbrbrbrbrrb I liked the assault better. It’s still has a very large shell (helmet is big) but I wore it for almost 2 years of riding

@@Jake_THEEsnake Was your helmet size true to your measurement? I actually bought it today and returned it, going to go tomorrow try size larger. M fit me really tight, couldn't even close jaw unless I forced it (it forced me to keep my mouth open). But most importantly I had severe pressure on back of my head. No idea why. My head isn't even long oval, it's intermediate-oval, I checked. Did have mild pressure on top of my head too, so it might actually be that I need to go size up. That's Assault. I also tried Stream II. Weirdly, Stream II was a bit better, but after 15 minutes same issue arose that I had with Assault - back of my head started pulsating with my heartbeat as if I had a tourniquet and I felt pressure. No freaking idea why this happened. Do you have any ideas? I asked around but no one had the proper idea.

@@brbrbrbrbrbrrb I would get a different size or another brand of helmet honestly. Ride safe!
