The reason we needed to remove the Distributor is because the Car recently developed a hesitation under a Light Load and Partial Throttle. Since we are aware that the Distributor Cap in Opti-Spark Distributors is prone to failure because the Spark Plug Wires are routed to their Respective Bank of the Engine, this causes the terminal traces to arc-over eventually due to their proximity to each other.
As you watched the Video you will see that it was in fact an issue with the Distributor Cap that caused the Missfire, but it was due to Engine Oil leaking past the Water Pump Seal and made its way inside the Distributor, the High Voltage burned this Oil as it made its way in but the Plastic Material of both the Distributor Cap and Ignition Rotor was Melted.
