I love this knife and I pair . I it with a Fiskers hatchet, saw and multi . It’s o1 steel which is tough gets razor sharp it’s not a one tool system. I prefer this over my Bark River bushcraft in 3 v everyday of the week

With my new sheath, and I have a d-ring and leather frog ordered for a much tighter square bottom sheath with a firesteel loop, right now I have it as a neck carry. No way is it a chopper, but with a baton I can beaver chop a reasonable tree or log, Yeah my B H Bushcrafter look's just like the HC Bushcrafter, and boy the way it's set up, You just made my day.

John, One recently knife I got that just impressed me alot, and I was surprised that I got it for less when I first thought about it is the Ka-Bar Johnson Adventure Potbelly I got it as a combo with the Parangatang great combo, but it sort if reminds me if a Nessmuk on steriods it has the Butcher knife charectoristics and if you wish the BK-2 was a little longer this one is it, it's got a nice curved belly and for such a big knife it's a carver. I thought you might like it. For a big knife I think I can use it as a 1knife carry option. Laterz.

+Wingman115 Good.....and I know what you think of them as well. Still can't decide on which one! Haw! But I could buy both for about the same price of one of these LT Wright HC Bushcrafter knives. >;-) Thanks again Jon!

Say Heah John, Yeah Old School Eah, I don't have the HTC Bushcrafter, but I do have the Blind Horse Bushcrafter basically the same knife except my baby is in O1. Oh Yeah I also had the handles flattened down and polished, I didn't really like the broomstick look, I usually like a palm swell with a flared pommel sort of like the R M Woodlore Handles, that would be awesome. But regardless after I had all that done to mine, it came out gorgeous, it really looks like a fancy, classy Kephart. And I don't have any slippage problems and the fit is perfect in my hand and I wear a large size gloves. Mine is with a Scandi Grind 5/32nds" thick and it's simply a "Tank" just like Mors suggest a knife should be in one of his books, that a knife should be strong. The only problem was the sheath it came with made the knife slip out dangerously and I almost cut myself a couple of times because I guess the sheath was more for the other handle. But lately I'm finding out that a flatter handle is more to my liking as long as the corners are rounded, I have two similar knives, one with a slight palm swell, and tge other one flat handle with rounded corners, the flatter handle is a little deeper but man is it ever comfortable. I find what I have done to my handle allows me to use it in alot of positions and besides I like tge way it looks. Again my Blind Horse Bushcrafter look's simply gorgeous I love it. What I really have my antenna up on is the LT Wright Jessmuk JX2, I think that's going to be my next knife except, I might go with a palm swell and a fluted or flared pommel sort of like a shrimp tail flaired. But the impressive thing is, even though Blind Horse broke up, the other company still stood behind their work, it was the other company (Ashley was so pleasant, shes a fine lady) but I'm sure LT would of done the same. That means alot to me.

Good review, but in comparison, I'll stick with my 40 something, dollar Shrades with included sheaths. They to me, still represent the most bang for the buck. Can't wait for the 51 and 52 to be released!! Thanks Jon. ;-)

LT Wright usually makes great knives made of O1 Tool Steel but 1075 is JUNK.!! LT is not doing his company any favors by making knives with this type of steel.
