Man the tone on the Conclusion record was such a monster - that guitar is definitely the missing link for anyone trying to re-create it!! Maybe that one will be in a museum one day mate.... 👀

Those hot rodded marshall's might not be as good in a mix as a 5150, but it made the band stand out during that time

It's wild to me to be looking at this guitar. It takes me back to 2008 when I was 14-15 years old freaking out about how great this "band from the UK" was and how their songs were exactly what I wanted to hear. Quickly became my favorite band then, and still are today. Crazy to think this combination of wood and strings could do such a thing. Thanks for showing this to us, this guitar is special to a lot of people!

I bet the passive voicing of those pickups through a Marshall amp would get instant Edge of the Earth tone as well. Hope you will do some guitar playthroughs of some of the deep cuts from those two albums with this guitar.

Conclusion of a age and this guitar tone and style was major influencial for me as a musician. It's in my DNA so to say whenever I write riffs 😊

Hey Josh, I think a Video series where you try to learn some of your favorite riffs or some songs/riffs that challenge you would be really interesting to see on the channel. Kind of similar to what Dean Lamb does with his 4 levels show

Cool video, I love geeking out on this sort of stuff. Question, do you now play those Conclusion of an Age songs in C# at gigs? If so, how did you tackle the pitch change of the vocals?

Really nice guitar. I’m after a LTD Snapper just cause I like single coils with Humbucker bolt on spec. Undecided on bridge being a EMG 85 or something different.

My first custom shop from ESP has an Evertune. Never liked the tone or the lack of sustain for leads

Conclusion of the age tone is one of my favorites. I didn't really like EOTE tone, it's amazing to me that the same guitar was used. Were the amps different?
