We visited Lucerne for its famous and amazing medieval architecture and its stunning location on the edge of Lake Lucerne amid snow-capped mountains. In particular, the Chapel Bridge which is the city's historic landmark and considered to be Europe's oldest covered bridge and the history Old Town and Pilatus Kulm.
It's jam-packed with precious sights and scenery, encapsulating just about of everything but we just had day activities walking from the Lucerne Train Station across Seebruck (contemporary bridge), quick browsing on the high end shopping area then climbing the mighty Alps and experience the overwhelming mountain panorama.
Decending back to the city after lunch and quick strolling in Chapel Bridge through Rathausquai towards Town Hall then quick window shopping @ Kapellgasse before heading back to train station thru Seebrucke.
