It feels good to know you were deeply moved. It was new to me 50 years ago and it affected me that way too. It may be new to you but in time, you'll introduce even more to the classical world. Great stuff, you made an old man cry🥰

It wasn't the best, but it was successful and sold well. He sang only Italian and could only sing 18 operas. Fritz Wunderlich was a really good tenor, listen to it. Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany

@@dancefloor9032 Caruso sang in other languages & is considered the best of the best by true experts including Pavarotti who said my voice is no match to Carusos. Enrico Caruso also started the style you hear today & was the first blocbuster. The microphone wasn't invented yet! Watch the A&E biography on him You unfortunately aren't properly informed

Please react to: kzitem.info/news/bejne/zW2broOViXeIf6A Brindisi ("Libiamo ne' lieti calici") from La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi (i just try to translate this one, it's difficult, due to various archaic terms in italian) Alfredo: We release, we release in happy chalices cause beauty blooms. And the fleeting fleeting hour got drunk of Pleasure. Let's free ourselves onto sweet emotions that awakens love, like that eye to the heart Almighty is leaving. Free yourself, love between glasses the warmest kisses you will ever have. Everyone: Ah, let's be free; love between the chalices The warmest kisses will have Violetta: Between you I will know how to divide my joyous time; Everything is crazy in the world What is not pleasure. Let's enjoy, fleeting and fast it is the joy of love, it is a flower that is born and dies, you can enjoy more. Let's enjoy invites us to a fervent lighter accent. Everyone: Let's enjoy, the cup and the song the beautiful night and the laughter; in this paradise ne about the new day. Violetta: Life is jubilant Alfredo: When you don't love yourself yet. Violetta: Do not tell those who ignore it, Alfredo: it's my destiny so ... Everyone: Let's enjoy the drink and the song the beautiful night and the laughter; In this paradise on the new day

Point of order.. Libiamo means we toast/drink from, not we release.. We're drinking from the chalices, not peeing in them
