I was very late to becoming a fan of hers. But then I realized I had heard her music without having a name put to it. The only song I could name was Righteously. I was on vacation and saw her headlining a music festival in Billings Montana. Los Lobos played right before her. I had a connection with LL and possessed a total access pass. Stage access. I briefly met her just before she took the stage. She opened with Righteously and proceeded to kick ass. Her band is awesome. I watched the first few songs from next to the soundboard next to the stage before going out in the crowd. It blows my mind that I met her, however briefly, before I ever saw her perform. Then was able to go backstage after she kicked ass on stage. No way she remembers the brief conversation we had after the show, but I won't forget it. And I would give anything to have seen the face of her book publisher when she handed in a hand written memoir. She is a one of a kind.

Before anyone gets excited by the above supposed reply from Lucinda _[EDIT: thankfully now deleted or hidden],_ that's an impersonator (real account is LucindaWilliamsOfficial). You probably wouldn't believe me, if I were to detail all the other illeg*l and ev*l sh*t they do (e.g. using a drone camera to take compromising pictures through their 2nd/3rd-floor neighbors' windows, and then trying to blackmail them).
