Hi everyone, my dad, Steven and I went out of the port of Ludington on July 17th. We got mixed in with the large pack of boats from the Ludington Offshore Classic taking place. We didn't fish in the tournament therefore we got to leave ahead of the entire pack and head South to Little Point Sable. We received word that the better king fishing was down there by the silver lake sand dunes. We went 5 for 7 on salmon. Two really nice mature kings, two adolescent and two small ones. Water temp was very cold, so all our baits were in the top 30 to 40 ft of the water column. Our 4 color with a Michigan Stinger Arctic Ice stingray size took the most hits followed by the Rv Dancing Anchovy by Moonshine lures.
