Mr. Mazza intertwines his own personal story of having a son with cerebral palsy with “perhaps the most over analyzed and under-performed mandate in Scripture,” that found in Luke 14. Based on Jesus’ own example of seeking out the needy, poor, blind and lame, Mr. Mazza challenges church leaders, in particular, to “compel” people with disabilities to come in to the Church, that God’s house may be full. He emphasizes that disability ministry is “not a church elective,” and that only through bringing people with disabilities into the Body of Christ can the Church be complete in its service and witness to the world. He closes with a video of how the Church in Peru is working toward God’s house becoming full.
