Thanks for having Luke on, but honestly, it was a bit hard to watch. My genuine feedback, if interested: The constant interruptions/interjections made it hard to hear sometimes and it occasionally interrupted Luke’s train of thought. Also, several times ya’ll started talking about some topic only for you to refuse to go down further into that point, this was very unsatisfying for the listener, and imo, should have been edited out. Finally, additive convos are much better than arguments; approaching the convo with humility and curiosity is essential, a lot of people tuned in to hear Luke share his perspective, not to witness a red vs blue argument.

This!! I second all of this! This was my first time coming across the channel and video. Instantly captivated by the whole setup, loved how it seemed just like two buddies about to talk. Was SUPER intrigued by Luke, the guest. Never heard of him before but became an instant fan. All was well and good and I enjoyed the interviewers comments until it started to become VERY interruptive, and defensive almost ? Interviewer seems like a great guy and hopefully they can have another episode where he lets the guest speak freely . Being more open minded would also have helped dive deeper into convos

BIG correction is needed @34:35 - Luke got his dates mixed up. We went off the "Gold Standard" in 1933 under with HJR 192, long before 1971. In 1971, Nixon ended the Bretton Woods system of fixing of the price of gold to $35 = 1 ounce of gold. If you go online and do a google image search of "Gold Certificate", have a look at old (pre-1933) paper money. Also, pre-1933 there were GOLD $20, $10, $5 and $2.5 coins in circulation. And our paper money had printed on it "Will pay to the bearer on demand $nnn in GOLD COIN". After 1933 this went away. NOT 1971.

Why tf people out here in the comment talking shit about the interviewer because he challenged Lukes ideas?? THIS IS EXACTLY what we need! Luke is smart, and I love listening to him, but if every interview we're just gonna hear him talk and the interviewer agreeing with everything he says what is the point??? Luke himself always says, do your own research and don't just listen mindlessly and take every information you hear as a fact. This way we get to see lukes point in a deeper level when he elaborate, and we get to see a counter argument from the interviewer so WE CAN FOURM OUR OWN OPINIONS ABOUT THE MATTERS! It is the same with Andrew, I respect the guy but I feel people online are taking his word as a holy book. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, do not just take anything you hear and run with it. These are just keys and different prospective to direct you through your searching for the truth journey

26:48 I 100% agree, I think Education is the area where there is the biggest leverage on solving most of problems Humans are facing. Not talking just about the educational system (I'm not american so I can't really comment yours), but Education with a big E. Helping Humans acquire basic skills that will help them develop as thinking beings; not enslaving them. Things like how to use logic thinking, how to learn by yourself, how to adapt to novelty, the importance of conscious learning, and understanding the impact of one's actions on the rest of society (aka how to give a fuck about others and not just yourself).

Hey brother! I would say to experience life yourself. Videos are great but can only take you so far. Live with discipline. I assume you have family, those should be the closest people in your life. Put God first and look for people with the spirit. Speak your mind, validate yourself, ask questions, and get involved. You got it bro! Everything will be okay.

39:14 - these people are children and annoying, strange, immature, insecure ones at that. I've just listened to interviews of Michael Saylor, Minority Mindset, and Alex Hormozi, and none of them are "bro! this and bro! that". Learn how to talk like competent, mature, professional adults please. Bro! Also it's okay not to know the answers - that's what the guest is for - just say you don't know and listen. And when the guest doesn't know, look it up live. Its okay not to be able to think of the right word. Forging is good enough (the printing of money) but counterfeit was the word they were searching for.

@@TheBrettWay I see what you mean but the frustration comes from the fact that a lot of us who watch Luke want to hear his complete thoughts on certain subjects. Certain people you'll meet in life you'll find that the most useful information they'll drop is when they're on a roll and the thoughts are developing in real time. With these types of people you gotta let them shine in the convo because their complete thought makes the most sense when the symphony of ideas comes to a natural conclusion. Good Job btw with everything else its just that a lot of us like to really focus pay attention to the shit that Luke says.

I lost a lot of respect for Brett after this. It's like he truly doesn't listen. He is so close-minded to what Luke is actually saying in many places of this video. Very swayed by systems that have literally been implemented by people just like us and disregarding opinions and outside thinking. Brett is the perfect envoy advocating censorship by changing topics and arguing points where he is blatantly wrong, all for protecting his income paid by his boss, Google.

I was speaking to a notable physicist at a pub in London over the weekend, he was telling me that AI is way off from disrupting labour markets. Its a simple language heuristics model which has been available, that said not to the public, for years. Surprised so many non tech people are getting so infatuated with it considering they do not understand the fundamental mathematics / comp sci behind the product.
