How did I not know this song existed? I have a newfound respect for Luke Bryan now. I myself am a farmer, and watching this video nearly made me tear up...

This is so True!!! Harvest time comes once a year. You work around the clock 7 days a week to get it all done. Because it doesn't come again tell next year. Farmers are some of the HARDEST working people around!! God bless the Farmer!!!

My dad was a farmer.. 2000 acres of dry mediocre farming land left to me and my brother after he died. 20 years later we still have it, wish I knew how to farm I would give it a go instead of leasing it out every year.

You will I always wanted to be a farmer when I was a little boy in a small town. I had to work a factory job for 21 years it raised my kids and now I am a farmer. My advice is to believe and love in your heart the happiness of growing a crop and the hard work it takes. Always listen and absorb all the knowledge from your elders. You will be a great farmer with love and faith that go with farming you will have a blessed life. Never give up and keep the path. God bless you

Scott, none of us farmers weather ranchers or crop guys are ever lazy. We work harder than most folks to make sure that our families can eat. So until you've worked your share of night shifts looking after a bloated calf, or sat up for hours with a first time doe, or worked long hours in the fall to bring in the grain you can't call us lazy.
