I always thought the sound of Luke and Ronnie was great. When I was a kid I thought it was one voice. Luke's passionate, firey delivery with Ronnie's bass textured sound. It was like one sound. It was great!

Just great. If he performs a good song, you can feel it running down your spine. He and Ronnie Browne died at a similar age. Both the most talented folk singers of all times.

I think this was quite like where Ronnie said that "Luke's a Communist, you know", and I love it to this day, just fort the comedic effort! I've seen documentaries, and I've watched MUCH later stuff on KZitem! But Luke Kelly had a very firm communist foundation from where he saw his life! I'm so sad that he died so early, even if I didn't agree with him at the time!

My brother saw them last live show with the original lineup got me a signed album it is in it's own glass case on the bar in my living room I was 4 when we left ireland mom and dad are both Dubliners
