Great tools for the DIYer. I bought their table saw TS254SW 10" portable saw, folding stand with side extension for £265.95 including a £14.00 off voucher.

Good review. I like the fixed guides to allow the saw to be pushed back on the bench. I bought a new Makita last year & had to fix an extension piece to the front edge of my bench.

All well and good telling us about the features how about showing us the accuracy. Was the 90 deg cut 90 degrees? Was the 45 deg accurate? Several time when you moved the saw it seemed to flex - really important but you chose to ignore. You have not mentioned how far left and right the blade will swing - is it just 45 deg or will it go further - again quite an import feature if comparing it to other brands.

In terms of the bevel, you say barely any play, but surely we wouldn't want any play at all? Is there still play when it's locked in?
@mattsdiy4595

Thanks for the comment, there is still some adjustment once the bolt is located back in the whole and that's where the large locking nut comes in! It just allows easy finding of set angles !

First of all you did a brilliant job on the review but its a shame when the saw looks so well built they have let it down by having no preset notches for the mitres only a spring loaded ball bearing that drops into little holes in the casting this system is far from accurate and does fail over time

Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!!! From what I could tell it is still sturdy enough for the stuff in doing and only time will tell! If its aswell built as the rest of the saw then it should have quite a long life span!
