Thanks for being the first reviewer to get the light up and off of the camera. Pretty impressed with using it as a key bounced in to an umbrella. Great review!

6:55 this 30 feet underwater depth limit excludes it from SCUBA diving list for us as on dive charters we are easily diving past 30 feet depth. However it’s still a consideration for a snorkeler 😊 To be honest as said before there is much better SCUBA dive lights for those applications. The LumeCube 2.0 looks like a great GoPro addition for dark evening dry work and when wadding in lake or beach waters with no concern if the rig falls into the water! Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

if you need a bump apply a point of crazy glue to one of the labels on the buttons that way you know if your finger is on the button you decide to mark, ive done this trick on multiple gadgets (example usb cables to know which way is up before connect in the dark )

Excellent review, Russ! My thanks as always for a fair and balanced analysis and testing of the new LumeCube 2.0 Lights. Yes, they have stepped up their game by including the accessories instead of having to buy them separately. What really stood out was the useful life on a battery charge, what an improvement. I guess it's time to upgrade to the newer model. My thanks again, take care!

I ordered one to use with my Osmo Pocket after watching your review. I had tried the Godox LED 36 and 64. They are inexpensive with good even light output, but a little unwieldy when ganged together. Have had a look at the Litra Torch? Seems comparable.

4:43 ok I realize the rubber flap for daily dry use is much easier however did the LumeCube 2.0 just loose its waterproof capabilities as a SCUBA diving photo light because of this change? To be honest there is much better underwater dive photo lights in the market but this seem interesting where LumeCube may see a bigger market share for their product line for dry land based adventure photo applications.

Russ, I've got the first version and love the lights, can you upgrade the SW to the newer version? Wondering did you get the new Mavic 2 mounts? in the installation manual #7 mentions that they are working on a new mount so you dont have to use the zip ties.

They ruined it as a dive light! Who dives shallower than 30 feet?? Almost never! I figured that "improved" would mean at least a 130' max depth. Now I get to pay $10 more PLUS I have to wait for a compatible dive case, which will make the cube bulkier. Fail!

15$ umbrella, 20$ lightstand. Thanks for the information, but what is the price of the actual product? I don’t get the point to make such a mystery about the prices of the reviewed product. To be honest: It sucks. Is it because you think the product is not worth the money? -> that’s what I think when a KZitemr don’t mention the price of the reviewed product. I would prefer to hear the price and then convince me why it is worth it. Sorry but most of the people out there are limited to money and can’t afford to by every product. We have to put in perspective to the price. Still, thanks for the video. It helped me. See this just as a free tip, because I am not the only one who is annoyed by this marketing strategy to not mention the price.
