One recommendation for anyone who wishes to learn more about Lunenburg’s history is to visit the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum on Pelham Street. You guys are doing a really excellent job Vlogging your Nova Scotia tour. I'll definitely check out some of your other places when I get the time. One thing you didn't mention is that the entire town of Lunenburg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. My last last meal in Lunenburg was a pizza at the Salt Shaker Deli as well--so yummy. Sometimes the boat tours offer a puffin tour to Pearl Island. It's about an hour out, half hour or so there and hour back but it is worth it for the birds. Lots Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Kittiwakes etc. The puffins are so colorful, like Lunenburg. Looking forward to more of your Vlogs.

My wife and I had a terrible experience in Lunenburg when the owner of one of the dowtown galleries tried to con us into buying some of his art works. He seemed pleasant enough at the start of our entering the gallery but as time wore on he became increasingly aggressive, manipulative and dishonest. When his final ploy didn't result in us buying any art he turned his chair around and with his back to us told us that we did not love his art. At that point we got out of there but it left a very bad impression of Lunenburg and we both have no interest in revisiting the town again.

Funny thing: One of my grand-uncles (is this the correct term? brother of my grandfather) was Professor of Metallurgical Engineering at the Nova Scotia Technical College of Halifax after he and his wife emigrated from Latvia to Germany at the start of WW2 and then from Germany to Canada in the 50s. Later in the 70s they came back to Germany. As a child, Halifax (or Canada in general) to me was always "somewhere over the rainbow" 😀

I had a similar experienc with Ice Cream in Tobermory, Ontario about 15 years ago. I had made the mistake to ask for 2 scoops, and I asked for two flavours. I got two flavours but two scoops each. LARGE scoops and at the end of the day it was something like $3.
