Kat, I agree with your tips. For Final Sale items at ThredUp, a lot of times you CAN return them if they are not as described. Mostly the measurements are always wrong, so there's an out. Also sometimes things have holes or stains that they missed. When it's their fault, your return is free. Often they will just refund your money and tell you to do what you want with the item rather than mail it back to them. I wish they were more accurate with the measurements but they are processing so many items per day, I think the emphasis is on speed. For that beautiful Crown & Ivy green blouse you might try moving the buttons over to the very edge and see if that gives your elbow room to move. Cheers!

Thanks for watching and thanks so much for the comment! That’s such a great point- ThredUP has always been really good about returns for me as well (and really bad with measurements)!

I have an odd question for you…… I've never worked or sold or bought from any of the online retailers similar to thread up, Etsy, Poshmark, etc. my quick question is how does that work? I have a couple of slightly higher end bags that I would be interested in selling to them, but I'm not sure how that works.

Thanks for asking! I should make a video comparing the different platforms because I think a lot of people have the same question. Here is a super brief breakdown of the main ones that I shop/sell on. Poshmark- peer to peer sales, meaning you list it, ship it, etc. This is great if you want to sell only for a certain price because you have more control. eBay is the same in those regards, but is less user-friendly (the listing website is pretty complex on eBay.) ThredUP is thrift and consignment, so you send your items and then they pick what they will sell. If you want items back that they don’t select, you can get them for an extra fee. You can select the price of your item, but there is a time limit for it to sell. ThredUP is really easy to sell through, but I have always made less money on there than on the other platforms. The Real Real is consignment for designer items only. They do the listing for you, but you may not make as much because of that. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.
