I think a better way to use curse of misfortunes in a Lynde deck is that you cast it on yourself, so on your upkeep you get both triggers of Lynde and the curse, and since Lynde doesn't need you to target anything before it goes into the stack, you tutor for a curse and then pass it onto someone else, essentially tutoring for a curse and drawing 3 cards every turn.

The curse of echoes should come back. Even if it died as a creature, Lynde only cares if it is an enchantment when it hits the graveyard. There is a curse from the midnight hunt set boosters that transforms into a creature since it has day/nightbound, but it still works with Lynde, so manifested cards should work as well. It wasn't a mistake, that should be how it works.

No, Lynde is looking for an actual curse to be removed from the board. This allows copy enchantment cards to come back as curses, but manifests and the leech side of curse of leeches will not trigger Lynde. It's closer to reading as a curse death trigger
@quentonmcclure8233
2 жыл бұрын
@@greatbrandini3967 that's not accurate. Cards only exist as their front facing side when anywhere besides the battlefield. So, when it hits the graveyard, it is a curse, not a creature. Because of the wording specifically being "when a curse is put into your graveyard from play", Lynde sees it as a curse. It gets weird because when the creature dies, it still gets regular death triggers like blood artist, but the second it actually hits the graveyard, it is a curse. Leave it to wotc to print 2 cards with an incredibly confusing interaction in the same set
