❤Can't love Lynne enough! Of all Lynne's wonderful trios over the years, this is my favorite (Jay Anderson and Steve Davis).❤ Fortunate to have hosted her 4 times at Windham Chamber Music Festival.

I so love it that this track did not once veer into expected jazz riffs. Her arrangement is about one thing only -- the melody -- nothing to detract, but only to support it. She's gifted us with an unadorned, simple and stately work of purity that conveys such great feeling. What a refreshing treat this is.

It sort of derives from gospel. If you improvise on it, it slides you right into a slow gospel melody.

Dear Lynne, I didn't know which was the piano, and which one was you, you both were one! Both beautiful, and spiritual, both floating gently through the universe, the notes of your song, caressing you both. Fondly, Sergio

Dearest Lynne: I just watched your video once again. As you were caressing the piano keys, it seemed as if your heart and soul were traveling throughout the universe at that moment. Wherever your heart was at that instant, I wish you many moments in your future like that. My best always, Sergio
