I love this music video. It definitely supports the theme of the song. This was recorded in Monterrey, Mexico at a historical site that's now a museum.I think it was a foundary or a power plant. The extras in the video were all members of The Warning Army who were invited to participate. Moreover, they had a lot of fun doing this. Fun Fact: Rudy, their Manager, worked on Hollywood feature films prior to managing The Warning. He worked on Titanic. He produces their music videos and it shows in the overall quality.

The museum is located at Parque Fundidora (Foundry Park), using the remains of the steel foundry founded in 1900 where the first blast furnace in latin america was built. The place has special importance locally and in Mexico because Monterrey is considered a higly productive industrial zone. By the way, Monterrey is part of Nuevo Leon state, which has the highest quality of life index in the country and is known for having the most "americanized" life-style due to wealth and closeness to the north border.

I believe their manager Rudy comes up with most of their MV concepts. I think their lack of widespread fame is at least partly due to the fact that Rock music trails behind other genres in popularity. If their MVs had come out during the heyday of MTV (when they actually played rock music videos), these girls would be legends by now. 👍😎

There are often commenters on The Warning videos where they call out the older male crowd and call them simps or perverts, etc. for following these girls with such fandom and passion. It's like you said, we've seen them grow and followed their career into adulthood and yes, we are proud of them, and we can equate them to daughters, nieces, grand kids and so on. On top of that, their music speaks to that older generation, many have come from being fans of rock and roll. Rock has been set aside for decades now and it's time bands like The Warning get their due respect to bring back rock to the forefront and introduce it to the younger generation. We want the younger generation to embrace good rock music and show them that here is so much more to music than pop, hip hop and such.

I'm sure they run into their fair share of creeps too, online especially, but they don't strike me as the type that would have difficulty dealing with them. At least in person I don't think anyone would mess with them, especially not with so many loyal supporters around them, it probably wouldn't end well for the troublemaker.

The "live session" videos of Choke, Evolve, Animosity, and Z give you the best of both worlds sonically: a live performance in a studio setting. Of course, nothing beats the energy of well-shot and recorded concert footage. Now you have the perspective of seeing the newest music with an understanding of what came before. You're definitely catching up with TWA.
@DonKelleyMusic

Agreed! And now of course we also have the live version of Animosity.... although I'm not sure if JT can handle that right now... it's so hard to watch them grow up, and that is effectively their latest public release.... what WHAT a release!

Time warp them back 30 years during the heyday of MTV and they would have been huge. They have one more epic music video left that you haven't seen, but it's near the end of the album so you'll have to be patient. There actually is another but it wasn't done by them, it's a animated video. Not sure if you're into that and reactors have had some issues with it since it's not done by The Warning but by a company called Webtoons. That song is Animosity and TW just released a pro-shot soundboard quality video from a recent concert of that one, in glorious 4K.

When you come to the song "Kool Aid Kids", consider this live performance: Kool Aid Kids - The Warning - Live at Summerfest, Milwaukee, WI - 7/9/22 kzitem.info/news/bejne/rKGinWlncJZpZ5g They didn't do a music video or a live session for this song. This is a well recorded video. You can see all three perform without the camera moving around and it is up front by the stage, not shot from far back.

Hey JTMM! Now you know why many of their fans feel like proud aunts and uncles. haha. BTW, They filmed this on a low budget. It was filmed at the Blast Furnace Museum in Monterrey. Monterrey used to be a big steel town like Pittsburg. The extras are all fans that showed up for the day. The Wardrobe was done by their mother, among others. And their Manager, Rudy's company did a lot of the work. I think they hired a small film company as well. So, it just adds to the amazement of how great this video is. Disciple is a great song to show off a lot of their talents. Pau and Dany trading lead vocals. Ale's backup vocals, and of course, their instrument playing! All that's lacking is all three playing piano together. hahaha. Future Legends!

OMG - I never thought of things from the perspective you just brought up here. Because yes, this video and song should at least be in awards shows and on the air regularly as a new artist feature or something. It's outstanding. But you mentioned that the message they are trying to convey is probably preventing them from getting the success for this song (and possibly others.... they do tend to write songs with messages that hurt the current media distribution systems (social media etc)... which is ironic since it is the sole reason for their initial exposure and breakout success as children. This is a heavy though JT, and I'm fascinated by it. I really do wonder if media companies will tend to overlook The Warning (aka "DPA") due to the anti media lyrics.

The Grammy's, and MMVA are pathetic now. The only push and support the pop or rap/r&b crap. I mean come on stuff like Cardi B WAP gets awards but this gets snubbed?! That's why I quit watching them years ago. I would rather have seen the girls for the Superbowl halftime Show than the crap lip syncing show Rhianna put on this year! The girls had a amazing year of growth and exposure in 2022, from the first show in Rockville, to getting on SiriusXM, to opening many shows for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless, and then opening for the Food Fighters in Mexico, then Three Days Grace across Canada 🇨🇦 those are what imo brought in the most new fans. Anyways great reaction bud 🤘🏽⚡

Didn't know where else to post this, so I figured this vid would be best. I believe you missed a song they released before Error. They put out a single _Narcisista_ in 2019. It was in response to some of their critics that complained about them singing only in English (up to that point anyway). The Foro Didi is a must- it was the first time performing it in public & then a few more options (most will probably say the CDMX one from last year). If you only do one, then definitely the first. I don't think that the reason they haven't taken everything over is that people don't want their message to get out. Plenty of successful bands have had "messages". I think it's more prosaic -- some of it is that they're classic (mostly) hard rock, although they don't really fit neatly into any one genre, some of it is that they've been focusing more on developing as a band rather than trying to race to the top, some of it is the usual problem that women have to work twice as hard to get half as far. They surely could have gotten on AGT and all those shows, but that isn't the direction they wanted to head (they want to keep control over their direction and music). They aren't the only young classic rock/metal band that has taken time to develop; Liliac (the bad blood that some TW fans have for Liliac really has to stop; it's not a zero sum competition, and whatever silly comment their singer made years ago is irrelevant), for example, also hasn't really exploded. This song is, in a way, part 2 of XXICB. I enjoy all the twists and turns. I'm not sure what "spoken line" you're referring to on Pau's part -- are you referring to the "2, 3, GO!"? That's Ale, not Pau.
