Lovely stations at Hindolvestone and Guestwick! Anything left of the eye wateringly sharp curve at Thelmethorpe? Thanks for this. PS the Leicester to Norwich train would have used the Melton Mowbray to Melton Constable line via Twenty, Counter Drain and Clenchwharton..are you going to explore that line?

Thanks for your comments. You can still walk around the curve at Thelmethorpe as it is part of the Marriotts Way footpath. I’m going to work my way further out from the Norwich area first. Next line will be County School to Wells.

Another superb mission into our local railway history. I find this very interesting because some of it is my old stamping ground as a child many years ago. I’m no expert, but your production seems to have ramped up a level, and it’s really great to put a face to the voice ! Looking forward to the next update on the Warship project, and Pt 2 of this certainly can’t be missed for sure - riveting stuff !!!

Many thanks for yet another superb M&GN video. In the 1970s, when my gran lived at briston I walked the hildolveston to Melton stretch many times. My gran always pronounced it Hilda veston. Yes, if that M&GN fencing is original it has done well, if replacement, congratulations to the owner for keeping the original distinctive style.. and also, I must have my sad git hat on for such appreciation of M&GN fencing.

Thanks again for your comments. I agree that some of the owners of old railway property do indeed need to be congratulated on a sympathetic restoration. It is unusual fencing and seems to be a trade mark of the M & GN.

@@nutmeg5032 No problem. By the way your videos remind me of those on the Shropshire Railways KZitem Channel, produced by the late Malcolm Webster.

@@davidkitchen7941 I have found a channel called Shropshire Railways, I guess that was Malcolm, I can see the similarities in style.
