Hello kokichi san this is such a wonderful and enlightening project .. i hope that Takanaka carpentry museum will hold your video and instagrammed posts in their collection , your documentation is of great social value for the future and a fascinating and informative story for us western carpenters interested in traditional Japanese craft.. thanks to the construction company and your fellow craftsmen for allowing you to film the process , i hope Taro is there ?? Or maybe still sharpening ………😮😅🎉

Thank you very much. Even within Japan, it is difficult to find good materials on the transmission of traditional Japanese architectural techniques and materials. I think it is even more difficult for people outside of Japan to find such materials. I am sure that my contribution is not easy to understand and inadequate in many parts, but I would be happy if it could be of help. Taro works at the same site every day. It is all new experiences for him, so he seems to enjoy it every day.
