An intimate pastime of Shri Radha Krishn narrated by Shri Maharaj Ji through two blissful compositions in Prem Ras Madira. English translations provided below:
--Kishori Ji taunts Shyamsundar...
chhaila bhala atapata bhesha banayo
(O Finely Dressed One! What sort of strange garb have You donned today?)
chandravali pada bandi bhaal nija, laal laal kari layo
(Your forehead is reddended with the 'mihavar' from Chandravali's feet!)
dai upahara peet ambara nija, aruna-odhani bhayo
(You have gifted Your 'peetambar' to her too! Do You now prefer the woman's red shawl that You are wearing?)
bikhare kesha, naina ratanare, murali kita bisarayo
(Your hair is dishevelled, Your eyes reddened from having not slept all night! You even seem to have 'misplaced' Your flute somewhere)
vachana arabare sveda kampa tanu, tava aparaadha jatayo
(Your words are garbled, and the perspiration and trembling in Your body is all pointing to Your guilt)
dhani-dhani nilaja! aaju chhala ugharaya, bhali kari jo ayo
(O Shameless One! All glories to You! It is a good thing You came in this state, so that Your deception would be clearly exposed)
suni 'kripalu' katu vachana lali ke, laal drigana tama chhayo
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "Hearing Kishori Ji's harsh words, the darkness of fear spread before Shyamsundara's eyes")

--Shyamsundar is defending Himself before Kishori Ji...
kunvari! tu jhutehin dosha lagaya
(O Kunvari! You are accusing Me falsely)
sunu maanini! saba baat bataun, sancha na baat banaya
(O Manini, listen while I explain everything truthfully to You. I am not making up anything)
kaali sakhiyana mili navala kunj mahan, lalitahin dain bithaya
(Yesterday, all the Sakhis got together and made Lalita sit in the middle of a grove)
mote kaheen chalahu kunjana bicha, radhe toya bulaya
(They came to Me saying, 'Come to the grove, Kishori Ji has called You')
haun bhoro kachhu bheda na jaanyon, jaani tohin gayon dhaya
(Being innocent, I did not understand their scheme and thinking it to be You, I went there)
gahana timira puni ghunghata yate, kaisehun mukha na lakhaya
(It was very dark and she had covered herself with a 'ghunghat', so I could not see her face)
mote kaha kiya maan maanini, pada gahi lehu manaya
(The Sakhis said, "Kishori Ji has done 'maan'. Fall at her feet and pacify her!")
haun yaate akulaya charana gahi, driga asuvana jhari laya
(I became very disturbed and fell at her feet crying)
yaahi te yaha laal mihavari, gai bhaal lipataya
(That is where this red 'mihavar' that You see on My forehead, has come from)
mohin rovata taji uthi puni lalita, kunjana gai duraya
(Leaving me crying, Lalita got up and went and hid in some other grove)
haun dhundhata kunjani prati haryon, kahi kahi 'radhey! haya!'
(I went searching for You in the groves calling out 'Ha Radhey!')
bhaee prabhaat marama taba jaanyo, sakhiyana gayo thagaya
(When it was daybreak, I found out how I had been deceived by the Sakhis!)
yahi te driga ati arunare, muralihin gai hiraya
(That is why My eyes are red (from lack of sleep and crying) and I have no idea where I lost my flute)
apara chinha dekhati tu jetika, saba una ke guna aya
(Al the other marks You see, is all because of those Sakhis)
suni 'kripalu' hansi kantha lagayehu, manini sakhina risaya
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "Hearing this, Kishori Ji laughed joyfully, embraced Shyamsundar and expressed Her anger at the Sakhis")
