3:26 and 12:53 to compare the rumble!!! Nice work. I can definitely hear the deepening of the "bass" with the shorter exhaust.

Yeah for the m109 I'm a Cobra fan for that bike. Longer pipes also fit that bike better. But hey, your bike, your choice. Very nice. Cheers!

One of the biggest things that affects torque on that M109R engine are the adjustable gates for the exhaust system. If you replace those with different pipes you greatly affect not only how much torque, but where the torque curve is. BTW excellent phone/camera combo.

Sorry but I like the Cobra Swepts better. And I have a set on my 2013 M109R LE. It is really almost impossible to do justice to any of the pipes with a microphone on the internet. The Swepts sound awesome in person. I was going to get a set of Monster aftermarket baffles to get a deeper sound, but they basically just make a too small version so it will go up in the pipe and a good portion of your exhaust goes around the baffle because they don't bend them to fit the pipes. I guess they figured putting the baffle pipe in a bender was too much work. I am thinking about getting some fiberglass wrap, pulling the stock baffles and wrapping them for a deeper tone. But I am not about to spend almost $200 for a product that the manufacture is too lazy to make them right. And on top of that you have to uninstall the heat shields and drill holes and put them in 6-8 inches up the pipe.

I liked the Hard Krome Sideburner better than the Cobra Swepts on my '08 M109R. The tack welds for the hold downs clamps for the heat shields on the Cobra Swepts failed, not once, but twice... never again Cobra!

Did Suzuki get rid of that SET Valve thingy on the later bikes. I've seen an install where you have to disconnect wires and a bracket and all kinds of goofy crap. Di these pipes just bolt directly on?

Not sure. Mine had it but was already disconnected by the PO. They did bolt directly on and with out issues

Sir, Not to change the subject of your vlogs, but can you tell me if you have had trouble going from 1st to 2nd gear on your M109R ? Mine goes in very hard. I have adjusted the clutch cable every which way but God who knows. I have heard changing the stock clutch foot shifter does wonders on these bikes to get a smoother transition form 1st into 2nd. Any truth to this in your experience ? What would you advise doing ? Down shifting from 2nd to 1st is no problem, but 1st into 2nd seems to hang and go in hard. Please advise........Bill

I never had any issues BUT I had shaved the center pin to my clutch basket to let my oil get in the clutch plates. I also bought and installed the smaller star shifter. I added the bronze bushing on the shifter and last but not least, the clutch gets adjusted in 3 places per the service manual. First in the clutch basket itself (right side of the bike), then on the adjuster on the left side of the bike and final adjustment is at the lever. If you havent done it this way, it might help dial it in for you. But to answer your question, no, I never have any issues neither shifting 1-2 nor staying in 2nd.

Very Nice and LOUD the way I like it. Loud pipes have saved my bacon countless times. Cage drivers are Not Paying Attention and the loud motorcycle pipes kinda wakes them up. Granted some old cranky ^&#** will call the cops. But they really don't understand. Happy Trails dude. Enjoy it while you can.
