Highly satisfying that was 👍 .. thank you. I just love the look and sound of those old school gasoline stoves. I have the Optimus 8R Hunter. Uses a similar Burner Mechanism .. bought new in the mid-70's, in regular use and still going strong.

Wasn't that the US Army issued stove that Private Kovak prized so much for making coffee in the film " To Hell and Back " with Audie Murphy? I have a M-1950 US Army stove which is very similar.

Try the SVEA 123. It works on the same Burner principle, looks similar, has been going for ages and is a good product. I have it's Cousin, the Optimus 8R Hunter. Bought new in the mid-70's, still in regular use and going strong.

Randy, OldColemanParts.com has some parts for these. Used mine for over 30yrs till I realized it's economic and historical value.
