This is by far the best sniping channel on KZitem. Hands down. Fantastic content. The history, the cinematography, the camera angles. Really excellent quality all around. On a side note, I used the M24 in the army and in combat in 2005. By far my favorite weapon system, and I can attest to its absolutely legendary accuracy. And there’s quite a few insurgents not walking around anymore in Sadr City thanks to its reliability. Cheers!

Basically that's why most Professional Hunters like their customers to have a contolled round fed and mechanical extraction actions to prevent short stroking of the bolt. If the round didn't eject then the bolt ain't all the way back to pick up the next round. This is why i'm a big fan of the Zermatt Origin actions they also have a Savage style bolt head and it's very easy to change the head in just a minute or two. My PRS rifle has 6. different barrels for it from .308 to .223 and it takes just a few mins. to change a barrel and bolt head. Never been a huge fan of push feed actions unless it's a single shot target rifle. Thanks for the vid. Rob and Family.

I just found this channel, and WOW! Great stuff as always, Rob. I've just recently acquired equally legendary Sako TRG rifles in .308 and 6.5, but I know my skills as a shooter are nowhere close to what you and Veronica displayed. I'm sincerely awed by both of you. I have the tools, now it's on me to stop sucking I guess! I've never had Sniper training, so my plan is to start with 22LR and develop the Fundamentals, then "graduate" when I feel I can give the Sakos the approximate skillset they deserve.

Holy Cow! Enough of the bullshit talk. It's time for me to be a Patreon. As someone who has been fascinated with rifles for 60+ years and a professional rifle maker for >30 years, these videos are exemplary. They are factually accurate, and it is a great joy to see rifles that had their origins before WWI like the M1903 Springfield, Enfield SMLE, Mosin Nagant and Mauser M96 & M98 hold their own against state of the art rifles despite being fitted with obsolete optics. Of course, the shooter must get some credit, too. Veronica! What a lovely young woman who can really shoot. Kudos to Rob for introducing his daughter to shooting. There can be no greater joy as a father than to enjoy and participate on an equal level in an activity you both enjoy. And, I hope you don't think this is weird coming from an old fart, but Veronica is a very pretty young lady. Were I a lot younger, I would happily pursue her all around Missouri. Good job Veronica! It won't be long until you can out shoot dad.

@VintageRiflesShootersClub

Sometimes it's easier for people to shoot at the extended ranges better vs 100m, because they may have more forgiveness on the parallax error...it is also possible that if you will put more groups, difference between 100m and 400m will wash out...
