Thanks for posting this video. My Dad was on an M-26 crew at the Battle of the Bulge, and would have smiled from ear to ear at these guys going out for a little cruise in the boonies in that shiney new-looking retriever with a shiney-new-looking Sherman on the trailer. He would love to imagine seeing the neighbors' faces when he pulled into the driveway with this kind of show-stopper. What fun!

I have goose bumps watching what Dad commanded under fire at times in his Hell On Wheels 2nd Armored Div. M-26 named Bette Jane. Thanks a million from a few!

Thanks for noting where and what this memorable HD drive was about. I just found your reply somewhat late. Dad and his all USA Armored Division Brothers would be proud of what you have done for them. In the hedgerow night fighting in France a dud German artillery shell landed six feet from Bette Jane's M-26 bumper. While Dad and his crew were underneath their M-26!

Smiling from Indiana now. Where is this location? As noted below by wknucky, are you out in the San Fransico Bay Area? I admit to watching your great rewards in restorations many times Andy. The Patton Museum at Ft. Knox did not have an M-26 when Dad and I was there in 1969. My father, Jack M., passed on in 1974. Whenever my semi truck's off roading for big hardwood logs got rough and tough. I always thought of his long tough dangerous drive from Omaha Beach to Berlin in 1944 and 1945. Thanks!
