But I do believe he encountered some blunt force trauma to his head, he was bitten by a large animal and he fell to the ground. Like maybe the dog was surprised at someone else coming in the house, grabs JO’s arm they both struggle and JO slips falls and hits his head in the struggle. I get that he also had a wound on his upper eye could have been a very violent attack. Edit to add: as a dog groomer alone I’ve seen the bites that groomers receive from a dog that is less than pleased to be there. No expert clearly but I’ve probably seen more dog bites than most and this looks like it was A very violent attack.

The CW has no case if they can't prove that the car hit him. - it's the alleged murder weapon! Trooper Paul failed to prove that. KR may or may not have hit him. But the police were poor in their investigative tactics and behaviour ( Proctor) That matters because there was potential bias on his part. The amount of hatred towards her is not understandable it didn't look like he knew her personally or knew her well enough to have spoken such vile things about her. She will walk and if you believe she did it you must blame the troopers for a weak investigation and the CW for overcharging her .

@@ritaeichler2066 the dna from not where the actual wound was? Come on now- maybe had the state actually investigated this properly or even looked at the evidence with a neutral eye they would have realized this. Secondly, when the DOJ is telling you THIS DID NOT GAPPEN THIS WAY, why would you proceed? What an insult to the actual VICTIM and his decedents. What a mockery of our justice system and what a waste of tax dollars. I'm sure the citizens of Massachusetts greatly appreciate that. How much did this trial cost them? Seriously. In addition- by all accounts KR was hysterical. The blowing up of his phone, name calling, anger/jealousy- those are all actions of a woman hurt, angry and then concerned and panicked. I've been with my husband for 18 years. We've had fights where I've called and called names and left nasty voice messages and then when he doesn't answer go into a complete panic because I thought something happened has done nothing but prove that there was a lot of drinking and driving by law-enforcement officers and civilians. A German shepherd would only bite once and lock the jaw, these dogs do not snap around, trained dogs do not bite several times, and she (Chloe) would know John's scent. He wasn't a stranger. The only one who could give a command is the dog owner/handler - where is the motive for the Alberts to give this command? So if the defence wanted to present a solid foundation about a police conspiracy, they failed. No DNA of any dog available! We have one clear fact, which is the violent death of Mr O'Keefe. Keep that in mind! It has happened outside - either way. To knock him out amid a blizzard, (by car or with a blunt object) and to leave him to die in the cold, is the most plausible scenario here. No traces of moving the body from the house to the lawn etc. No evidence for bites of Chloe the dog. Nothing. Just loud barking from the defence attornies - and public voices. So who attacked this police officer and left him behind without calling for help? Still no answer.

German Shepherds are known for their strong bite and "lock jaw" behavior, but this doesn't mean they only bite once. They may bite multiple times in a row, especially if they feel threatened or if they're protecting someone. Even if Chloe was trained to bite and release on command, she may not respond to commands from a stranger like John. The handler or owner's presence and commands would likely still be the most influential in controlling Chloe's behavior, but Chloe's uncertainty about John could lead to unpredictable behavior.
