Hey! How can you use the AddVar tool to add two digits to get not a sum, but a string? For example: "SetVar $test = 1" "AddVar $test = 1" The value of $test will be 2 and I need 11. Thanks!

Hello - I noticed that in your software's global variables list, there is a variable named BPM. How did you make that variable display? How can I read such a value into my own variable? (using only macros - no Lua) Is it possible?

Hi, I'm having an issue with variables. When ever I set variables in my show file, they get deleted when I reopen the show file or come back the next day to the show file. Any ideas?

I am struggling to find resources on this particular I am trying to run. I would like to prevent myself from having to rewrite macros for my busking file (Although I am programming it to be self fool proof) Can you reference a specific object name within a variable. As I try to write the variable, it returns with an empty name everytime. Current Syntax SetVar $FXDF = "Executor "100 DF" + Executor "200 DF" ... This syntax returns Executor + Executor + ... leaving out the second layer of quotes for the object name. Without setting the variable it works just fine. Just want to save myself some macro writing time.

any chance you can help me with testing the stystem date (not using the agenda)

"listvar date" will give you the current date, is that something you were referring to? Next up in this series is "conditional execution" so that should help you execute stuff based on a variable value, including the date system variable :)
