Faces is really an amazing body of work. Listening to Faces now is actually pretty sad. It really showcases him fighting his demons, and it’s apparent that he knew he was going to die at a young age. RIP to Mac, a true Hip-Hop and PA legend.

Too everyone who just started listening to Mac after his death, nobody is mad because you slept on him until after he died, we're happy that now you get to enjoy his incredible talents with us! Mac made music for every situation you find yourself in life, struggling through some shit?he got you, going through a break up? he got you, too high? He sure as shit got you on that. Also, the song Grand Finale was written because Mac genuinely thought that it was going to be his last ever song he wrote before he killed himself or overdosed... Big up to everyone going through some shit right now, we're all in the same boat just hang in there.

There’s a whole mini-documentary behind the scenes for Good:AM after this where he worked with Rick Rubin and got sober for like… a month. And came out with imo his best album (not my favorite but his best front to back, again in my opinion). After that it was back in, and back to more actively-addicted music that still sounded great, but I wish he lasted longer than that month and I’m sure Rick Rubin (who’s sober and did his best to guide him on his path) wishes it stuck a bit longer. Either way, we got what we got and it was all great. RIP Mac 🙏🏻

As a huge fan I’m so glad you found this. I’ve always shared this mixtapes with others because it’s the only one I relate to with my own drug abuse. Since mac died I can’t help but think what people would say when I pass one day. He had demons but I looked up to him. RIP Mac Miller

My favorite mixtape of all time...and the fact that he made the beats as well....Damnnn, son. Malcolm was a lyrical and musical genius. Many people underestimated him while he was alive. Most dope indeed. Most of the artists in the hip-hop community who got to know him - loved him. They got to know his beautiful soul and sense of humor as well as his talent. Listening to this after his passing adds a whole other level of sadness to this masterpiece. I try not to dwell on the fact that he's no longer here on this earth.... The celebration of his music and spirit lives on through his fans- new and old. Much love to the true Mac fans and the ones just beginning to dive deeper. Don't take your short time on planet earth for granted. He didn't even make it to the 27 club.....Fuck! Honestly I don't have that many favorite mixtapes so if anyone wants to share their favorites I'd appreciate it and take a look. I dig old school, boom bap, experimental, and conscious rap the most. So if you have some recommendations I'd love to discover some gems -some of my fav hip hop artists - Biggie, Wu-Tang, MFDoom, Del the Funkee Homosapien, Tribe Called Quest, Kendrick, J.Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Tyler the Creator, Brockhampton and the Beastie Boys. Thanks peeps. Love and good vibes to all y'all (:

i think it'd be dope if y'all started from his K.I.D.S. mixtape and did a whole series like you did with Logic's material. it woulf really show how much he evolved as an artist in such a short time.
