I had the chance to meet Father Luis Ruis ( 6'03") during the last year of his life. He was almost a living legend, still stranding straight although he was in 80s, and strong like a buffalo and helpful to the needy until the end. A great man he was. Often, I pray for that he may happy be as happy as possible in heaven.

Thank you for this video. I was born in Macau in 1964. I wonder what year is actually this firm. My mum and dad may be in Macau at that time. It will bring back a lot of memory to them. God bless you. June

Thanks for uploading the video. Is it possible to add English subtitle? In Chinese would be even more wonderful. The voice over there was in French (?), most of us Chinese can understand zero.

Those casinos have also made Macau quite wealthy. The tax generated, along with the jobs the industry and tourist sector has created means that Macau residents have it pretty good nowadays.

Around 2 minutes the night scenes are from Hong Kong, at 1.50 you can see the trams. The rest is a very good document about Macau at that time.

Thank you ! Michael. I was in Macau in 1958 for 3 months waiting for a ship from Hong Kong to Mauritius. The reason we could not wait from HK was the British wanted to control the illegal immigrants..

Before the Great Leap Forward started, my mother Ho Ho brought us (brothers and sister) from Guangzhou of the Guangdong Province to Hong Kong via Macau. Now I live in Canada. Zecharian 2:6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

I living in London and The English complain about a few refugees that they don't want.Imagine in Macau in that time there was a lot of mouth to feed.
