Thanks for posting, I've learning more about Mach-E's and this was very helpful. Just an FYI, after the 10 minute mark, the video was fuzzy, couldn't even read the road signs. Probably an autofocus issue. Also, can you get the same efficiency parking next to another EV while charging. Really enjoyed this, the Mach-E's are nice

Thanks, yeah my wife didn’t realize the camera was focusing on the inside of the car instead of outside that’s why it’s out of focus. Believe it or not I have yet to charge when there is another ev parked next to me

Good video. You gave a very good feel for what it's like to drive electric, complete with recharges. The Blue Drive may have worked better if you had been in the right hand lane (as you should have been) where it had the white line to follow. Also, I would like to know how many kWH you used, and what driving modes you used. Was your heater on? What was the noise level on the highway? What was the overall cost of fuel for the trip? What is the over all cost to drive it to date?

We drove using whisper mode. I like being cold so I keep AC between 68 to 70 but heater didn’t come on only AC came on. I can only compare to my last car which was a 2018 Dodge Charger and noise level on Mach e is much lower compared. I haven’t really kept track of fuel cost since I’m still using my free EA charging. Ford gave me 500kwh because my car was delayed. Cost to drive to date is only what it cost me to charge at home based on my electricity rate it’s about $6.00 per charge and I charge up once a week because I’m currently working from home so mostly use it on weekends

Nice car. I live in Buckeye as well. been looking into getting into one of these but its tough for me to buy a car without being able to see one in person. My wife has back issues from the military and looking at the floor wells and her being able to get in and out is always a concern when she is having a bad day. Nice to see able to make it to Flagstaff without issues as that would be about as far as i would want to go with it anyway. How does it handle the weather when its 110 out and AC blasting.

I just got my Mach-E in November. Haven’t had a chance to use it in hot weather. I also have Chronic back issues but I have found the seats and driving to Flagstaff comfortable. I did get a little more tired when we drove to SoCal last week . usually I’m pretty much laid out after drive for a day but I was ok after resting a few hours . My kids did complain about seats in back not being good for naps but they were used to my Chargers seats which were pretty comfy in the back.

@@EV-zona awesome thanks for the reply. We're thinking about going from a palisade to mach e. I figure I have solar on the house I might as well utilize it to its fullest.

@@EV-zona Mach-E is a beautiful vehicle. Why weren't y'all using the Mach-E's built-in nav system? I know it'll map the energy usage and plan charging stops in a very similar way to a Tesla. Just curious.

@@joshmatlock1020 just used to using Carplay. Also we didn’t really need to charge until we reached Flagstaff and there is only one Electrify America Charging station there to use. We didn’t need to charge when we stopped at the Outlets just wanted to try it out. ill check out the built in nav when we go to San Diego or Las Vegas next year.

@@EV-zona Totally makes sense. I subscribed and will keep watching. I bought a Bolt EUV in June but just sold it back to GM because of the battery recall and now have a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. I also looked pretty hardcore at a Mach-E but decided to go with the Tesla...love the Mach-E though.
