Thank you, Jessie, for sharing your injury and recovery journey! Everyone has silent battles and what you and your family experienced as a result of the accident was truly life-changing. By opening up about it you’ve made a difference in the lives of many others no doubt. Bonus: you gave back to the people who aided your recovery in a most spectacular and special way! So blessed to have you in the TITAN family, Jessie!

So glad you made it Jesse.. That's insane. What an awesome way to show your appreciation! I was in a really bad accident just over 8 years ago where I lost control and took out an overpass sign. I still get anxiety and pain in my chest when I drive in the rain. Moments like these make you reevaluate things and I'm just thankful you were able to walk away. Separate note, I immediately lost it at 2:48 in the video because I KNEW you were about to say some crap about Barry lol

From personal experience, I would bet that the Emergency Department (ED) staff would appreciate seeing this at least as much as the OT's appreciated your gift. As a (former) journeyman machinist and current ED nurse, I have a unique perspective on both worlds. It is one of the hardest things we deal with personally in the ED, when you send a critical patient out and have no idea how they do afterwards. It is totally against privacy laws (HIPA) to look up and see what has happened with our patients so we often do not get that closure, even though we care deeply for what happens to them. Thank you for making this and for your kindness to those who helped you when you needed it.

Hey Jesse, Heller Tony here. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so glad you are okay (other then the mental trauma of having Barry watch you child). Life is so precious. We tend to forget that because of our daily routines. I remember hearing the news. The wife and I were devastated. We are so glad that you are still with us my brother. I don't know how Barry would be able to handle all of the attention and credit if you weren't there! What a really nice gift and piece of art (yet again). What's really amazing is how our lives can be altered when we connect with other random people. The things they do for us and what we do for them. It was really cool seeing the expression on Destinee's face. That to me was priceless. This should be a good reminder to not take anything for granted or walk away mad. We are ALL in the same line not knowing when our number is going to be called. Always sending much love and gratitude. 💥💪

PT/OT’s actually helped me tremendously because I had severely injured my right shoulder. The doctors wanted to do surgery. I just asked if therapy would help. They said we could try. 6 months later, I’ve got about 95% of strength and mobility back. From dry needling to cupping to strength training to mobility exercises to ice compressions. They put me through the wringer. It’s so awesome to see that you were able to make them (not buy) a custom tool that they will cherish. Glad you made it through the whole process.

First, it is nothing short of a miracle you survived that accident. Second, I love how you took the time and the care to genuinely say "thank you" to the amazing team who helped you get back to normal by making them a tool of their trade, which also looks INCREDIBLE. To me that's what makes doing "manufacturing" so rewarding is the ability to make things like that which hold sentimental, but also practical value too. Not to mention the "feel" of titanium is incredible too! Also, I wonder how many bad things Barry taught your kid while he was the impromptu babysitter ;-)

It’s wild to see this technique work, but I was that same person saying how will rubbing help. Two weeks ago I hurt my pecks working out. I think over stretched the muscles at ligament attacking points. I couldn’t lift more than 20lbs for a week after hurting myself, but I decided to start doing the rubbing technique with my knuckles. It’s amazing how much more improvement I had daily when I used that along with cold showers (48 hours after hurting myself not right away just to be safe). I wish you a full recovery brother! I’m currently doing the same since I lost some range and still fell it slightly on my muscles when I stretch.
