I honestly love this piece. I would'nt have known about it unless my wonderful band director hadn't shown it to me.

Great performance, I met the fourth chair trumpet player while touring the music college and went to shake the hand he was missing when I left (on accident)

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who think this is a masterpiece and those who are wrong.

Honestly its pretty weak. Just some random suspensions mindlessly stacked. It's similarly bland like everything Eric Whitacre ever wrote.

Any tips on playing this for bass clarinet? I have an audition on this in a few weeks, and help would be greatly appreciated.

Bout a year too late I’m afraid… but LOTS OF AIR. The slow parts are deceptively difficult with the note length and intonation. The most wonderful piece I have ever played. Bass clarinet on it back in 2017 was fantastic.

Hope I'm not late, but its used for Molarity. Concentration times volume = Concentration times volume. In other words you use to find either the molarity or volume of a solution.

I think part you're referring to is based on U2's Where the Streets Have No Name. At least, according to the composer.

that’s a 7/8 bar and they’re sprinkled in at the end of big phrases throughout the whole thing
