One of my grandmothers had a chip and dip similar to the one shown. She would set it up when my sister and I stayed with her. We loved that thing! We'd have either French onion dip with snack crackers or ranch dressing with veggies. It was especially great when we got to go to the fruit market and choose our veggies, and in the summer when we could go into the garden with her and pick our own snacks. The three of us would sit in her vinyl bucket seat swivel chairs at her round faux wood Formica kitchen table with the crochet edge placemats in front of us and talk about everything imaginable. Thank you for posting this clip and bringing back wonderful memories. 💖💖💖

That was before “double dipping” became a “no no” as far as party manners go! Next to address it was on Seinfeld, I believe, and it’s creator Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) may have had a scene about it as well. The “Larry Doesn’t Use Tongs”’is particularly funny.🤣
