This is the definition of a "self-built" car. Badass stuff man. Keep it up.

I was going to suggest copper nickle lines, then there it was. As you discovered, way easier to work with.

This is cool watching this as I have to do this on my 2000 EX soon. I remember when I pulled my carpet up on my 1993 DA I found that the fuel lines and brake lines where run inside the car under the carpets stock. Such a great idea then they went to external crap.

Loving this build series. I learned alot in the beginning with all the body work and paint, my area of very little experience. I like how detail oriented you are. Also a preemptive congrats on your first 1k subs!

Now I need to look at my brake lines on my project civic. Do you recommend a brake line flare tool to pick up, or did you rent one from the parts store?

I borrowed a buddies. I had a set but was missing a couple components. Pretty sure you can rent them though. Kits are fairly affordable when on sale though. Good thing to own in the toolbox
