Bhadang is very popular Indian Cuisine. These turn out chatpatit and crunchy. If you feel like having something chatpatit and instant for evening snack or just for munching then this is a good option for you. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. It has a good shelf life. We already have seen Kolhapuri bhadang recipe and also 3 different recipes of murmure. This is yet another delicious addition to the list. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 3~4 tsp Oil
• Raw Peanuts
• 2 bunches of Garlic sliced
• Roasted Chana dal
• Curry leaves
• Red chili powder
• Bhadang Murmure
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp Black salt
• 1 tsp powdered Sugar (Optional)
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan and fry peanuts until reddish.
• When peanuts begin to turn reddish add garlic and fry well until it turns nice golden.
• Add roasted chana dal and mix well.
• Add curry leaves and fry well.
• Move all the fried ingredients along the edge of the pan and turn the heat to very low.
• You can take all the fried ingredients out of the pan if you want.
• You can fry each ingredient separately.
• Add red chili powder in the oil and mix well.
• Add murmure and mix well.
• Fry well and turn off the gas.
• Add salt, black salt, powdered sugar and mix well. Bhadang is all ready.
• Adding powdered sugar is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• You can store it in an airtight container when it cools down.
• It has shelf life of about a month.
• You can have it as it is or serve it with finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomato, coriander
leaves and lemon juice.
