I believe this kind of music will come back in the world some day, but I do know we must be patient. In the mean time we listen to madness.

Madness - absolutely. my first record. The American record player trunk was burned by the 220v electrical current of Greece but i was turning the disc by hand on the set. Listening to the needle scratching him and trying to catch the 33 turns the record was writing. With the hand. Even if the only thing he heard faintly was the tempo in the close escape. This event, this memory made song and record immortal. Thank you very very Madness!

Suggs isn't a cockney and spent lots of his childhood nowhere near London.

@@dionysiaex5538 Although Suggs wasn't born in London he spent a lot of time as a youngster growing up in Clarkenwell ec1 and had a realy strong London accent. After the Madness 7 album in 1981 he started to sound much more well spoken and from 1983 his accent had completely changed sounding very posh, infact all of the band developed a quite posh accent apart from Lee Thompson who sounds the same today as he did back then.Watch the film take it or leave it which was made 80/81 and you can hear how much their accents have changed and compare it to Madness interviews from 83 onwards.
