Couldn't listen to this song for decades as it reminded me of when they split. I was devastated. I mean really devastated. How can people who don't even know I exist have such an impact on our lives? Long live Madness.

They took it as far as they could go after Mike Barson left the band their songs were good but not as strong as they were, they were great for their time we always love them for it.

Isnt it crazy? Dont even know these people, nor do they know me, but they have made such an impact on my life. Their music got me through some pretty shitty times, and if it wasent for Woody i would have never of started playing drums. Long live madness indeed!

1986 der Trennungssong von Madness, ich war 16 in Ostberlin und so wahnsinnig traurig...Ich saß vor dem Fernseher bei der TV-Show "na sowas" . Eigentlich durfte ich gar kein Westfernsehen schauen, aber da hat meine Mutter eine Ausnahme gemacht....und ich habe so geheult....weil ich dachte, ich werde sie nie auf einem Konzert erleben dürfen. Und jetzt, schlappe 36 Jahre später, gehe ich mit meiner Tochter, 33, im September 2022 zum Konzert und freue mich wie Bolle

I get what you mean as far as their singles go, but theres alot more underrated tracks, like album tracks, or songs only released on EPs, some prime examples like Coldest Day, Not Home Today, Inanity Over Christmas, Deceives the Eye. I think its an underrated single, but not their most underrated. :)

1:38 I love how Suggs wears most of the hats from all the music videos up to that point, as a memory to all their previous work, since this IS Madness' final song from their original run from before the early 90's when they came back together... Abit like the last Thunderbirds episode 'Give or take a million' where they used a lot of the musical score from the first episode...

Last time I heard the lead singer works in a garage and loves it, and I think the rest of the band met up with him to surprise him, I remember the guy on guitar with his distinct sound nothing like it out there, and they was with us for a while, but like a flock of seagulls they flew off to come back now and again to delight us, guys in your day you were one of the many best bands in the eighties so cool.

Such a sad time. We knew this was Madness's last song before they split. I really didn't know which group to follow after years of being a Nutty Boys fan. Then some of the band came back as The Madness & that album was totally awesome. ❤️❤️

The Madness is so underrated, great tracks.. I Pronounce You is a favourite of mine. Defo missed Woody and Bedders though, not madness without them two... Glad their back together!

They did return as a four piece and called themselves the madness that did not go well with some members of the band not to do a reunion two years after they officially split up.

@cheekyboymashups the b-side of the original single was dedicated to a little girl who was born with no limbs. The boys donated most of their royalties to a charity in her name. I think it was Sara. God bless 'em.

Grrreat record! Just tops! Loved madness. Bugger me tho, 1986, 33 years ago as I type... where the hell did THAT go!? 17 when this came out, turned 50 earlier this year... feck-a-duck!!! 😨😨😨 so THAT'S what happened to the Testcard girl? ... she grew up to be a member of Madness!!! 😂😂😂

This song relates to me in the way I'm waiting on a train and the intercom is like "a train will be coming through, so stand away from the platforms". Your waiting half an hour, for this train to pass through!! *intercom- Train passing through**Me- waits half an hour for train to come through**train goes through the platform**Me- WTF* Its all true had experience!

1:44 is Lee's ghost not wanting to parachute out of the helicopter because he dies when he tries to take the pictures later on in the video! That's why at the very beginning you see him laying down with a medic over him and his head falls off! :O
