Back in the day well mid 90's anyway when there were MG Montego turbos in the scrap yards there were a few Maestro van's with turbo O series engine's in. I've still got my Maestro turbo after 26 year's but now the parts aren't so available and now the car's are hitting £10-£20k!

Yeah we've had a couple of people with old "real" photographs of their vans with the O series in. Like you say the original cars are now worth too much to take their engines out! Wow I may have to ask you some questions at some point if you own a proper one, mainly where things go...

I'm a, T16 Turbo conversion guy owned the O series turbo cars too thirsty and not fast enough too justified the swap when T16 was readily available 15 years ago when was converting them! Van in my profile pic here still lives up Scotland and my brother owns turbo no 361! I do intend on doing a Montego T16 once I'm fit from my injuries as only one have not done turbo from the 3 M range of Austin Rover! Triple M range especially base models are the ultimate wolf in sheep suit!

@@micksroversmg558 I've got 410/505 which I've had for 26 year's now. Silly prices now for the car's and the parts but nice there is a following for them.
