there more factors then just tire pressure that cracks mags..high hp engine with lots of tq like 79/212cc will break them miss or hit.another factor improper chain aligment can cause some issue, cheap hardware cost bolts to stretch, then hard riding like offraoding jumping curb will break them.other factor is the batch some are made with potmetal

Just my opinion, but the cheap mag rims costing $150 a set are not a good choice for a 4 stroke motorized bike. Especially ones with 5 + hp and large amounts of torque in the 7, 8, 9, 10 + foot lbs. of torque. Also coming from China, the quality of the alloy can be suspect. If the batch is not of quality, the wheels can be extra brittle and very prone to stress cracks which will lead to catastrophic failure. You might be able to get away with them with a China Doll 2 stroke (low HP & torque) or a 49 cc HS 4 stroke again (low HP & torque) but not on a Predator 212 cc with big torque. If you ride around avoiding all pot holes and are extremely gentle with them you might get by for a while. But in the real world they are to rigid and to brittle for a motorized bike. Just my opinion.

BikeBerry needs to sell a line of the Plastic Mag rims, They are far superior in every way, Including the fact that they can use standard rim brakes. Magnesium rims are a bad material for rims. Even solid Aluminum rims would be better than Magnesium.

3 spoke are my favorite style, I run a set on my two daily’s I use all the time. I also recommend them to anyone I build a bike for or asks me on what type to buy. I think they are better than any spoke wheel, heavy or otherwise. Mags never need adjustment like spokes. Only thing I ever need to fix occasionally is new axles every 3-6 months lol.

I have a set of those 10 spoke since 2014 and they are still running sharp. No bending no cracking nothing so far. I always check my pressure and do not do stunts or wheelies and avoiding as many potholes as possible. I run these mags on pavement roads only and they work great. I always start my bike on the stand or very fast. Running 26 by 1.5 at 42-44 psi on the rear and 38-40 on the front works for me. I'm 5'7 175lbs. I use the same configuration I use on my motorcycles. Good video very informative, learned a few things to take more care of the rims, thanks.
