The Carm magazine is still the best option in my rifle with the single shot tray and genuine BRK magazine a close 2nd, tried putting a few hundred shots through the Elemental Objects mag to give it a fair chance to wear in but for me in my rifle using my favourite Daystate Sovereign pellets it is not good enough.
It’s more fiddly to load than I was expecting and the what seemed like a good idea opening side is just a gimmick with no real advantage, it does not feel very smooth when cocking the bolt so I’m guessing it’s not perfectly aligned with the breech so is clipping the pellets, this would explain the lack of accuracy even when compared to a worn out BRK magazine that has done a lot of work.
I know some people do really rate the EO magazines and I might just have a duff one but I’m not wasting more money I can’t afford at moment on another one.
At 35 metres it’s only just acceptable accuracy and this is only going to get worse at longer ranges, it is still useable as a close range ratting magazine as the extra shot and bolt hold open when empty is useful, guess I will use it for plinking and close range stiff and safe my Carm magazine for the longer ranges and target work.
