That was my first time in Pecos bill in a couple years, and now I really want to eat there again lol. Thank you so much as always Liz, I’m so glad you enjoyed it😊

These videos remind me to relax and take the time to really look at all the imagination surrounding all the areas. It’s not about rushing to the next amusement,although Disney makes it that way with Genie+ and you can see that stress in peoples’ faces as they walk through the park.

I am having so much fun watching these tours!! I don’t have kids, but I jokingly offered to babysit a coworker’s grandchildren if she would “throw in a trip to Disney World”. I can’t see myself enjoying Disney World without children. I am more the thrill-ride rollercoaster-type (a.k.a., Cedar Point!). That thrill-ride experience is why I appreciate Universal more than Disney. I have to believe Disney has considered a thrill-ride-type park like Cedar Point. Perhaps Disney cannot figure out how to have a thrill-ride park without the obligatory IP’s $$$.

Thanks so much for watching! The Disney parks are definitely much different than Universal, and pretty much any other theme park out there! The most intense rides we have here are the Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster, which are both over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

What great Castle reveal…from the train station (I would not have been able to look away until I got up there!!). The “forced perspective” seems to work best from the train station. Thank you for giving us who won’t be back before the end of the 50th Celebration one last look at the gold character statues!! (whoops, reminded me I forgot to “fist-bump” Donald…an other vlogger started it…but it spread pretty wide) Aw! looks like Pooh and Piglet found a new friend (sitting there behind them…I don’t think that was a leaf!)!! Such a beautiful day at MK! I hope that tail-water on the speedway knows the people ahead of them!! Like how you worked in Tron! (Saw what you did there!! 😉). Wow! I’m not there very often…but I had no idea there was a shop (Curtain Call Collectibles) there, near the entrance…definitely one I’ll check out on my next visit (if I remember it!).

It’s my pleasure as always Rick! I will do my best to show what I can of the 50th stuff before the anniversary ends. It will be interesting to see how fast things get removed, and what will stay. I realized while filming this that Tron wasn’t going to be apart of the video, but I really wanted it to be since it’s opening so soon! Thankfully I had enough footage from my annual pass preview to include it in the video. That store inside Curtain calls really is super hidden! I feel like most people have no idea it’s there! Thanks so much as always 😃

That camera you are using has an awesome wide angle. Very impressive photography! Would you be willing to let us know what equipment you use for your walking tour videos?
@ThomasFox56
9 ай бұрын
As there is no answer, I will give some advice on what I use myself for making cinematic videos (so no full walk-throughs, but I have some advice for that as well!) I myself use a mirrorless camera, specifically the Panasonic G9. In terms of lenses I only have cheap photography lenses, but the one I use for wide angle is an 24mm f2.8, but the G9 has a 2.0x crop factor which makes it effectively a 48mm lens, which isn't really that wide. Furthermore I use a Boya mic, don't know the exact one but it's a replica of the RØDE VideoMicro. As cage I use a Camvate universal cage, which I am planning to upgrade with a different tophandle/sidehandle and NATO quick releases. As monitor I use my phone, which is less than ideal but gets the job done for now. For walk-through videos, if you have a lot of time and don't mind carrying a weighty camera, i recommend a solid mirrorless camera with a 24mm lens at 1.0x crop, which would be a 12mm on the G9. It doesn't have to be a cine lens, but if you want to film at dusk make sure it has an f-stop of =

@@ThomasFox56 Thank you SO MUCH. Very generous of you. I want to know as much as you know, seriously. I am a Creative and a tech nerd (Interesting how those two go together so often). Alas, my creative side has taken second fiddle to my technology side for many years, so I am playing catch-up with old photography equipment and legacy editing software. That creative bug in me was awakened just because I was researching having a garage sale which ultimately led to selling online. Now I have to take good photos with good equipment and good knowledge of the editing software (video and photography). But I digress. I hope you enjoyed my novel. 😃

@@MeMyselfAndUs903 You're welcome! It seems that we are quite alike, as I am also a tech and creative nerd! Let's just say I have quite some editing to do haha!

@@ThomasFox56 How do you know when stop editing and say enough is enough (so to speak). Nothing is ever perfect enough for me. At some point an edit is simply a change, not necessarily an improvement. Analysis paralysis.
@ThomasFox56

@@MeMyselfAndUs903 that is indeed a very big pitfall that I barely managed to avoid lots of times. How I mostly do it is by only making small, incremental changes, and comparing them if I am not 85% sure about it. That way I will eventually notice when I'm changing almost nothing, and then I know that that part is done. Having a semi fixed workflow also helps a lot, as does working in steps (for example sorting and picking > color correction > stabilizing > arranging etc). It's also important to take a few breaks in the middle of editing to make sure you don't get tunnel vision! (And practicing a lot with real projects also does wonders!)
