What would it be like, to find a magical, miraculous, pool of water, flowing from deep within the earth, drink its water or bathe in it, and become young again? Such was the quest of explorer Ponce De Leon, in his search for the mythical fountain of youth.
But some say that Indiana has its own version, and its absolutely a legitimate phenomenon, that has drawn thousands over the years, from as far away as Europe. Deep wells of water that allegedly relieve illnesses, and make people feel young again: who wouldn’t want that?
This film explores the phenomenon of these so-called magical aquifers, and the sensation it caused in the 19th and 20th centuries.
