Would you recommended it? I have it as one of my top 3 choices

The light illumination is very good for road, brighter than anyone needs and very nice pattern, but the mounting system is a bit fragile. I have 2 and I already broke one of the mounts after 2000km. It is replaceable but I haven't found the parts yet. I think other mounting systems like the MagicShine Alty, are more durable. If you don't ride rough or have front suspension it's probably going to last longer.

How are you finding the light pattern when taking tight turns? plus is the battery life as claimed. Cheers.

I haven't tested the battery life to failure, but I've done +7 hours without charging it and mixed uses (low beam on low and high settings + occasional maximum output). The pattern works best in roads without sharp turns. For 90º or more it can be tricky if you don't want to slow down. But that's an issue of most handlebar mounted lights. Some people use an additional spot light mounted on the helmet so they illuminate where they are looking at, that would be the best option if you plan to go on curvy roads or take a lot of turns at significant speeds
