Those rock like objects, like the one you showed up close at 5:18 that stick to your magnets, could be meteorites.

excellent, thanks for that Bob, hope you get some really decent stuff out the rivers, it's out there and quite addictive when you're dragging in and feel the weight increase as it locks onto a target. Good luck and happy fishing Paul

ArcturanMegadonkey, I like the proper fork. I found two forks two years ago in the bushes near the Tennessee River with fake pearl handles on them. I still have them they look too pretty to just throw away, but they are currently packed away now. Keep up the Magnet Fishing cause you are fishing for metal items with Magnets. Just like a fishing pole is a pole for catching fish.

ArcturanMegadonkey For the beach it proved to be awesome but inland I reckon I'd do better with etrac and / or deus. There are bound to be a few inland sites where it is better than a non PI machine but I haven't found them so far, lol

+PheonixTheBeardedDragon If you look at 3:10 , it seems as though he's removed the bottle cap, bolted it to the horizontal piece of metal, then afterwards screwed the bottle back on the cap. Brilliantly engineered, me thinks!

Thought you were going in then Paul lol. Why don't you tie the rope to the rope anchors on the gantry rather than round your leg? No Cortina yet then or a diver. Now that would be funny.I will stick to detecting. PS wheres the coins or was that to draw us in lol. HH Mal

Hi Mal, I thought I was too, I got off balance. in future I'm going to attach it to the rope anchors just for safety. No Cortina or shopping trolley YET!, we came close with what looked like a zimma frame and small ladder off a boat LOL I attached the coins image by mistake and didn't realize until I'd uploaded the film, I just knew one of us smart arse detectorists would notice it and wondered if it would be you hahhaha, well done you have won a rusty 2p clad coin LOL happy hunting mate, going to catch up with some of your movies tonight as I'm getting the back log down a little all the best Paul
