They are all hand made though, so the price is actually very reasonable. You also have to consider the cost of the rare earth magnets and dice themselves.

Magnets aren't very expensive and plus dice cost less that 50p for a dozen. But I know this guy has worked hard making them and I really want to buy one but I was just making a joke. #banter

+Jacob Handley quality magnets are still costly even if you buy them in bulk. i made a magnetic 2x2, and its a lot of work, that is the main problem here. it took me a few hours, all the precise drilling and forcing the magnets into the holes.

The easiest way to know what number is opposite of the one you're looking at is the two sides will always add up to 7.

all corner piece magnets (+) all edge piece magnets (-) all centre piece magnets (+) and the core piece (-) or the other way around would work. the idea is that a corner only touches edges, edges touch corners and centres, centres touch edges and the core and the core only touches centres.

This is awesome for beginners. If it frustrates you to the limit you could just smack it to the wall :D It will even disintegrate into up to 27 smithereens, and you can still quite easily put it back together again!

Im gonna really miss these. I got two of them, a white colored 3x3 and black colored 3x3. Yes it’s kinda just a gimmick, but I loved everything to do with these. Wish I could have gotten a 5x5 before he stopped making them.

A good way of remembering what are opposites on that cube is that the opposite and the one your looking at will ALWAYS add up to seven 1 + 6 = 7; 2 + 5 = 7; 3 + 4 = 7! Great video!

Please could you do a video about fixing centres. I have a few cubes with designs on them and I can solve the cubes but the centres are ALWAYS in the wrong orientation. Love the videos.

If you want to rotate one centre piece 180 degrees, the algorithm is this: Keep the centre piece on the top and do these moves: (R U R' U)x5 If you want to rotate two centres 90 degrees, the algorithm is this: Keep one centre on the top and one on the right and do these moves: (R U')x63 (then they'll both be either solved or rotated 180 degrees)

On the dice the opposite of 1 is 6 and it adds up to 7, 5 and 2 are opposite because 5 and 2 add up to 7. therefore the opposites are whatever adds up to 7 with both of them

Will 3 of them be enough to make a 3x3x5? The reason you'd need 3 if because you need three center slices, but once it's done it would shapeshift and stuff. That would be fun to see, especially with the dot patterns. It would just be a mess :D

BTW if you find recognition of sides hard, just buy 3 floppy cube stickers sets, and put them on each layer. Voila! You now have the best fidget cube ever!

what you don't know dice opposites i memorised a dice: imagine you're looking at the dice corner 1 top 2 left 3 right top + bottom always = 7, unless your dice is made by a person with no attention to detail

This video is not entirely realistic. Unless one grips each section securely as you twist, the dice fall out. It is difficult to realign them. This rubiks-type cube does not handle like the traditional rubik's cube. You have to develop a sense of how to grip the entire section before you turn it. This winds up being something unique to look at rasther than to use. It clearly does not handle like a rubik's cube.

They should do a regular cube but with magnets, so that it snaps into place. Not very good for those mega ultra speed solvers but it would be nice for people like me who would like to just have a simple puzzle that feels and sounds nice.

This is actually is a pretty cool pussle. I like the fact that it is like a normal 3x3x3 cube so I can solve it with my method. The extra challenge is evil but the fact that you can pull it apart makes it easy (Hehehe ;P)
