Magnum Lynx patrol boots - unboxing & durability review
Magnum (Hi Tec) boots are an originally British brand and have been around a long time. The Magnum Lynx 6.0 boots in this independently-made video are produced in China according to the tags.
Part One:
Progressing from the now mandatory unboxing sequence, this video is about seeing how well these tactical boots cope with everyday use - walking footpaths, some standing in them, and a bit of running and cycling.
The aim of the review is to see how the boots wear over a period of a year or two. If they're still in good shape by that time, the series will probably be updated.
Unfortunately, it's not going to be possible to show how they would do for guarding or police duties, but with quite big feet and a respectable amount of use for them, this should give an indication of what to expect with these modern Magnums.

I can't really give advice on sizes, they are not the biggest 12 I've ever seen, but neither are they the smallest. In some shoes, like Decathlon's, I take a size 14. In these, I can just about fit in to the 12. The 13 was too big even with a thick sock. These could do with being a little broader for people like me. I believe they take a few days to wear in. My strong advice is not to mail order these boots unless you're sure of the size first. If I'd bought these in a 14 (or 48 Euro size) they'd be considerably too large. But for some other makes of boot or shoe, I need a 47 or even a 48.
