Finished watching and OMG I have goosebumps! Everything from classical music to ease the three had with each other while also being nervous, to me being Marathi and hearing those Marathi words, to the purity in the music and conversation, to Mahesh stating being an engineer and me knowing we share same Alma Matar to "varan bhaat" and "kay pavhna!" AMAZING! ❤

When I listened to Mr. Kale sing, I did surrender. So now I understand what he means when he says music is about surrender. His analogies in the interview were mind-blowing! What a legend!

The way his last name(Kaale) is pronounced, there is no alphabet for it in English language. The “L” is spoken like you trying to speak R and L together.. it won’t make sense coz there’s nothing equivalent to it in English..it’s written as “ळ”…you gotta roll your tongue like saying R but speak L instead.. that’s the best I can explain.. best of luck coz this alphabet is present in marathi, Gujrati, and Tamil(May be more)but not in Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu.. Welcome to India! 🙏

Watched on TV and commenting on the phone. He is not just a magnificent singer but a very devout and humble person. I have listened to him perform for our religious Guru Shree Gondavalekar Maharaj's resting place in Gondavale, Satara a few times. You are truly lucky to get to interview him!

@@suyashsonawane754 Even though NIBM road comes under Pune, it is NOT real Pune. It never existed 20 years ago. Pune's demography changed in the past 20 years. Pune has given birth to legends from many fields and one of them is Mahesh Kale and he is just a trailer. Only chapris look up to MC Stan not true blue Punekars.

I WAS JUST AT HIS CONCERT LAST WEEK AT ATLANTA!! It was a phenomenal experience, to say the least- truly a life changing concert. Never expected this channel to interview him (and don’t worry guys, I also called him Kale for like 6 years 😭)

I was listening to Beethoven 7th symphony 2nd moment last week. My 6 month old daughter overheard it and had tears rolling down her face. She wasn't crying. She just got emotional. I would never consider western classical below or above indian classical. I think music on it's own whayever the genre is powerful.

"Kale" - the "l" sound is a unique sound used mostly in marathi language. You seriously called him 'kale' as in the vegetable 'kale' 😀
