Really really thank you mahira for discussing these things on mental issues ..completely informative discussion with a lot of messages... You always discuss on important topics,, thank god you are not in rat race of other celebrities where they just dress up and post pictures. And doing those bull shit talk shows .. We should learn how to use our influence in a positive way ..for me the go to line is " don't be judgemental at all.. Be the way you want to be, it's OK the way you are, you shortcomings make you attractive. "

Worthwhile topic that needs to be discussed frequently especially in countries like Pakistan. This was incredible incredible session, I learnt , I correlated and I enjoyed . this session made one thing clear that if a child is not doing well mentally that means people around them aren't too doing well . A suggestion from me to mashion is " please conduct such sessions in Urdu " the entire series of loss is worth watching and I believe everyone should watch it . but people can face difficulty with language because most of people aren't good with English so, consider my suggestion 😊

Such a great conversation! I still remember the time from my 5th grade to high school. I was always bullied for my tall height than other girls and they usually discarded me from their groups because of my assertiveness. This continued for so many years till my college. Finally i decided and got the courage to expel them from my boundaries. I realized that I am worth deserving than waiting for their one text message whole day. This truly affects people of any age. At such times, it is necessary to let people go and live your life peacefully! Plus it is a humble request not to end these sessions and talk about other related topics in our society too whether it is harassment, rape , dowry and other such problems because we truly want to know the ways to deal with these.

This is so amazing and great. This is the first place I feel like commenting and opening up. While here it was spoken about being bullied by peers. I was bullied and made fun of by my teachers to whom I looked up to. Its so clear even now, happened when I was in my 2-3 std, then in 10th. Back then, I didn't know what to do, thought it was my fault and like you mentioned it broke my self esteem and became quiet person. Though grown up now, still remember. I don't know how many go through this, but I wish I am not alone.

So true .... The pressure of living up to your parents' expectations is one whole complicated ball game!!! When you're little, all you want is appreciation from ur parents..which after an age kinda translates into not wanting to disappoint them..and then after some more years u give up on urself bcz u think whatever u do they're anyway not gonna like it!

👏🏻mahira this is what one say is the well ussed ur power of speach or the gift given to u as a celebrety and u are using it so well dear, very well done mashaAllah. The whole conversation was so much educative and we all faced one way or other these sort of prbs. The best psrt was the adolcent period talk which i reappy appreciate the most coz no one talks about this and speacially when some one of your stature talks and get into these convos with such relevent and learned people we really listen and take some really important out of this. Very appreciated mahira u are doing a very giod job and i must say that u ur self have done a comprehensive study. Well done dear may u be blessed and may Allah protect u azlaan bacha and all ur loved one all of us as nation as muslims and as humans from all harm all evil aamen

I enjoyed the program a lot , recommended a lot of people in my social group . Felt all topics addressed were equally important but to save our Society from disgusting sexual issues in our new generation , I felt like sharing my experience. Regarding sex education , I feel blessed that my kids got them as they grew up in Dubai ( an Islamic state just like Pakistan ) . In my experience we as parents were asked to fill in a form for our consent if we want them to get such education.Initially I was uncomfortable as raised in Pakistan n in a environment where to get such information is considered shameful. We as parents were told that there will be a segregation so it was a bit of a relief. I also convinced myself by the thought that it’s better they know all such things from a reliable source , biologically n as a part of our curriculum and not from their friends or social media which can be either a distorted version or wrongly perceived by the kids . So in my view , i do understand the legal systems n constraints but hope schools in Pakistan do get permission to implement such education, young minds need positive n healthy ways to grow.
