Nice machine. I built a Toyota car engine powered splitter 20 yrs ago but it could not keep up with yours on it's best day. Ruined my back moving those big ol butt cuts............

For logs that size, I would have thought you would run them through your Mahoe Sawmill and make lumber out of them instead of firewood.

H M do the math, even at 10 cube an hour, that’s 80 cube a day at average $100 a cube. $8000 a day Doesn’t take long to pay for itself, also they’re hired out at $100 an hour round my way.

Thers approx 5.1 cubic meters thrown in a cord of wood so this does better than 2 cords per hour , but does not take into account the considerable time it would take to cut these rings up , would be incredible to see it paired with a saw table (REX 800 ), but I guess in many cases in NZ its cut up before being removed from the forestry
